Collaborating with Henry Wilson, Donna Brown and others at Y-COP and Lisa Jacobs, Rabbi Lester Bronstein and others at Bet Am Shalom, Marcia’s Light helps to demystify the Black and Jewish experience for children of each background, helping to stem stereotypes and create the conditions for relationships to form.

Guided by their teachers, the students will collaborate to write a play and perform it, learning about performing arts, acting and signing. They will learn in Arabic and Hebrew and bring together the richness of each other’s cultures.
