Marcia’s Light Organizes Soccer Program for Jewish and Arab Middle School Students: The Green Bridges Project

Marcia’s Light is bringing together middle school students from El-Gazali School (Arab) and Itmar Netanya School (Jewish) to play soccer and in the process learn each other’s languages and experience each other’s cultural norms, while building teamwork and interaction skills between the student groups. Each get-together has an age-appropriate education component as well as a recreational one. The program is supervised by skilled Jewish and Arab educators.
