Marcia’s Light Foundation will be designing programs with the Center to help Arab and Jewish youth at risk (ages 14-18).

Marcia’s Light hosted a post-Jummah luncheon at the Upper Westchester Muslim Society with Rabbi Deborah Waxman (President of the Reconstructionist Movement), Seth Rosen (its Board Chair), Crystal Collins (Director of Policy & Programs Faith Based Initiatives and Urban Affairs for Westchester County’s Executive), Iman Shaffieq Chase and scores of UWMS congregants.

On April 7, 2022, Marcia’s Light organized a multi-faith Ramadan iftar at the Agami Center in Jaffa, Israel for youth at risk. About 150 Muslim and Jew attended, including the families of Muslim young adults and children.

Sponsored by Marcia’s Light, Al-Qasemi Academic College in Israel is conducting a pilot program bringing together 15 Israeli-Palestinian-Muslim students and 15 Jewish students to learn about each other’s culture and humanity. Marcia’s Light Foundation collaborates with Al-Qasemi Academy, an Arab college in Israel, began conducting a multi-month program bringing together 15 Arab Palestinian students and 15 Jewish students to learn about each other’s culture and humanity and to conduct projects together.

On January 6, 2020, Marcia’s Light Foundation co-sponsored a major program organized by IJMA, the Inter Jewish Muslim Alliance.
